Village head murdered with son and daughter-in-law in Jharkhand, police suspects political rivalry
The SP said that prima facie it appears to be a case of political rivalry. It seems that the villagers were also involved in this crime as the male members of the area have moved out of the village after this incident.
Khunti Superintendent of Police (SP) Aman Kumar said that after getting information about the incident, a police team was sent to the village on Friday. He said that since the village is in a Maoist-affected area, a police team has been sent with additional security measures.
The SP said that prima facie it appears to be a case of political rivalry. It seems that the villagers were also involved in this crime as the male members of the area have moved out of the village after this incident.
According to the SP, the deceased have been identified as village head Mura Munda, his son Singa Munda and daughter-in-law Sidima Devi. He said that Mura's wife and daughters are still in the village, but they are very scared. Soon FIR will be registered against unknown persons accused of murders.
