Dumka: The body of a minor tribal girl was found hanging from a tree in Dumka, Jharkhand. The police have arrested the accused Armaan Ansari. He exploited the minor for months and killed him when she was pregnant.
Dumka has once again been embarrassed by the incident of rape and murder of a tribal girl. It is learned that the girl was very poor and used to work as a laborer. Taking advantage of her helplessness, the accused mason, Armaan sexually abused her for several months and killed her when she became pregnant. The girl used to work as a masons as well as in construction works.
The mason is accused of having a relationship while working and when she became pregnant, he killed her to get her out of the way. This incident of murder is being told on Thursday night. After the murder, the body was hung from a tree with the help of a rope to give an illusion that the girl had committed suicide. On Friday, when local people went out for morning walk, they saw the girl's body hanging from the tree. People informed the police about it.
Digghi (SKMU) OP's station in-charge Sujit Oraon reached the spot and started investigation. As the body could not be identified on Friday, the matter could not be disclosed. On Saturday, along with the identification of the body, the statement of the family members and the investigation of the police, the top police officials confirmed the rape and murder of the girl. It is feared that there must have been a dispute between the two when the girl was pregnant and the young man killed her and hanged her body from a tree to make it look like suicide.
Teenager came in contact with Armaan during work
Armaan, accused of hanging the dead body from a tree after raping a 14-year-old girl in Dumka, is a resident of Amdapara in Pakur. He worked as a mason and lived with a rented house in Sriamada. According to the police, the girl was originally from Raneshwar area of Dumka district. The family members told the police that she was currently staying with one of her relatives in Jama, about 15 km from Dumka. She used to come daily to Dumka to work. During this time he was introduced to the mason Armaan Ansari.
