In Jharkhand, a case of rape of a widowed tribal woman (35) of Kudu police station area of Lohardaga has come to light. The allegation of rape has been leveled against Sultan Ansari, a youth of the village itself. The accused belongs to another community.
The victim has lodged an FIR in the Kudu police station in the matter. It is being told that the accused is also a national party worker. The accused is absconding after the registration of the case. In the case, SP R Ramkumar said that action will be taken against the accused on the basis of evidence.
Raped by taking to the farm
The victim told that the incident happened on August 3, but she could not register the FIR due to fear. When the people got along, she reached the police station. The victim has said in the FIR that she was working in the field on the day of the incident. Meanwhile, Sultan Ansari of the village came and started abusing him. Beaten up too. After this, forcibly took her to the field and raped her. The victim told that the accused used to take sand laden tractor from her account. When the woman protested, the accused youth abused and beat her up.
