The newly appointed EPFO has taken a tough stand on corruption. He has said that if any officer and employee asks for money for doing any work, then contact me. He has clearly said that do not disturb people without any reason.
Jamshedpur News: Newly appointed EPFO commissioner Shashibhushan Kumar showed strict attitude to make the department corruption-free. In this episode, the officers and employees were clearly told – Corrupt practices will not be tolerated at any cost. He has said that no employee should unnecessarily harass people. Employer or employee, everyone's work now has to be done online, so that their work will be done without making rounds of the office.
Shashibhushan Kumar, who contributed to the post of commissioner about 15 days ago, held a meeting with about 20 big employers on Tuesday. He asked the employers to work in a transparent manner. Contact me if any officer shows corrupt practices. Action will be taken against such officers. The employer should first update all the information from the date of birth of all the employees by linking the PF account with the Aadhar number and complete all the documentation process regarding all the claim statements and ECR filing on time.
Apart from this, e-nomination must be done by all the employees because now it is mandatory. With this, in case of death of employees, their PF, pension, insurance claim will be easily done. Tell the employees that all types of work have now been done online, which is completely free. Technical facilities have also been made available by the department.
There will be zero tolerance on corruption: Commissioner
The EPF commissioner said that ending corruption will remain in focus. Whoever is a member of EPF, their work should be done easily and according to the guidelines of the Government of India. People do not have to make rounds of the office. Corruption will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Action will be taken against the corrupt.
